"Great little respite for the Appalachian and Long Trail hikers on their journey, with excellent value for the price you pay. The staff/owners absolutely respect the hikers' autonomy. They pick you up from the trail and they leave immediately after showing you around the building where you are housed with the other hikers. You won't see them again until morning has come and it's time to leave for the trailhead. Everything is clean and thoughtfully organized, from the dorms to the kitchen, and even the decor invites performance on the trail. Really a great place to refuel and replenish your spirits before you switch gears to attack Vermont's verdant slopes (they even flew the flag of my home province of Québec!)"

"Fantastic! Sparkling clean, very homey (well if your home is Sparkling clean). Amenities for hikers include laundry, shuttle to the trail and to town, and a $1 pint of Ben and Jerry's. Wish I had spent a zero here."
