"Bought beautiful glass from them in the past without issues. This time I bought a beautiful piece made in Connecticut, inspected it in the store and seemed fine. Got it in natural light outside after purchasing it and noticed the whole stem is cracked around 80% of the circumference. Brought it back in the store 8 minutes later and was told tough luck and to contact the glass blower for help. Terrible customer service. I appreciate the $80 broken glass. Slimy business practice, very unhappy. 10/10 would not recommend."

"Headlines is practically famous as an indispensable part of the NH live free attitude. I was 16 when I bought my 1st used CD on Main St in Nashua. I'm embarrassed to say that was more than 35 years ago. The Nashua store has sadly closed. However, the Laconia, Portsmouth, and North Conway stores still offer jewelry, cutlery, a variety of fragrant incense, non-conformist wardrobe choices, adult toys and a large selection of useful recreational accessories. The success must have something to do with their knowledgeable and capable staff as well as fair prices. It's a place that requires a visit a few times to experience all they have to offer. Go and visit the nearest shop to see for yourself. You won't leave without something cool."

"Buyer Beware!! I purchased a pair of sterling silver earrings at the Tilton store and my wife put them on one time and the post broke right off. Since I bought them as a gift I had misplaced the receipt. I brought them back in the same box that they put them in and the woman basically laughed and said "sorry, nothing we can do". "Why don't you try brining them to a jeweler to have them repaired". I almost laughed myself at how ridiculous this suggestion was. I paid approximately $10 for the earrings so it's certainly not about the cost, it's entirely about the principle. It's quite pathetic when a "local" store is unwilling to stand behind the products they sell. I'm certainly fortunate that it was such an inexpensive item. I was actually going to give them another chance if the woman I spoke to had even an ounce of consideration but it goes without saying that I will no longer be shopping at Headlines Boutique. It just goes to show why Amazon is always a better bet."
