"I don’t normally write reviews unless they’re really good or really bad but I can't say enough good things about The Marek South & the team that runs it. Kristen, Emily and Matt are super friendly and welcoming. It’s an extremely convenient place to live if you work at the Medical Center or just in the area. Everything is within a 5-10 minute drive. Theres a free bus service that runs every 30 minutes that connects everywhere you need to go! If you don’t want to drive or ride the bus theres a trail on the property that a 10 minute walk brings you right to the doors of the medical center! Speaking of - One of my favorite features of this community is the trail on the property. It's such a treat to have easy access to outdoor activities like mountain biking and hiking. I personally use that trail daily to walk my dogs and you can take that thing to walk all the way downtown if you desire. Beyond location - and being a new build its got state of the art amenities. An enormous hot tub - outdoor grills and an outdoor tv lounge area. I’ve lived a number of places and the gym is by far the best gym I’ve seen in an apartment. But, aside from the gym it has a huge club house with games and a bar and bistro designed for community gatherings. It’s been an absolute pleasure so far and the build having so many community focused aspects and that team of Kristen, Emily & Matt who seem to embody what the Marek is about is a perfect combination. I’ve had places where the office staff does not care about you - they just want your money. This is not that. Their commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment sets the tone for the entire property."
