"10/10 would recommend. Highly knowledgeable, high quality products, reasonable cost, very friendly and accommodating. Here's the thing… I thought this was just a butchery. I thought I knew a thing or two about a thing or two. Yet when I called in inquiring about some charcuterie components I was transferred to Tom and that's when I learned this wasn't just a butchery, and I didn't know this about that. Let me tell you, Tom knows his stuff and he took me to school in the most non condescending way imaginable. The passion and enthusiasm this man has for what he does is blindingly apparent. In our short phone conversation he was able to ascertain exactly what I was trying to accomplish, define what a workable budget range would be, all share a few different concepts that would check all the boxes. Even better, it was all sourced locally. It felt more like I was talking to a friend than anything else. I felt listened to and understood. Short story, long; I ended up bringing my traveling charcuterie board right to the shop, which we both got a kick out of. I just brought the thing for a visual aid, but Tom was all about it! He even offered to put the board together with me right then and there. And, bruh, the man's got skills and vision. Easily, he put together a presentation that would've put mine to shame. It was the difference between Van Gogh and my nephew's crayon drawing on my fridge that he claims is a dinosaur. The thing was gorgeous and received nothing but compliments during Friendsgiving 2023. I regret not taking a picture of it, but it wasn't on the table two seconds before we uncorked the wine and started to dine. Thank you, Tom. You really hit it out of the park and I'll be seeing you soon!"
"Bought two different cuts of beef. One filet mignon for my wife since she doesn’t like fat (cooked medium), and one rib eye (cooked medium rare) for myself. Both turned out amazing. We are in an Airbnb and don’t have our kitchen spices or tools, but regardless, dinner was delicious. Will return! Staff was also super helpful."
"I stopped by for the first time yesterday and asked 4 times for my cheese to be “stairstepped” as I’ve been purchasing this cheese for years and know that it will stick together and will be impossible to peel. The gentlemen argued and repeatedly told me that his way wouldn’t do such thing and he doesn’t squash the cheese down. I should have walked out but I was the fool who listened to him vs my own intuition, continued to purchase over $100 of goods to get home and prove this man wrong. I now have over $7 worth of cheese that is a block. Would it really have been that difficult to do what the customer asked? I was the only person in the store, so could you have spared an extra 3 minutes? It’s a shame that you’ve lost a customer bc of poor customer service but I will not return when a simple ask is met with argument."
"Stopped by this weekend to get some food for grilling. I had been to this place a few years ago, it does seem different as folks stated but I still enjoyed the food I got. I got the steak tips in some sort of spicy marinade, turned out very good on the grill. Also got their house burgers I think they were called, very juicy and the taste was good. I will go back."
"I love this butcher shop. I am always happy with their selection and quality of their meat. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I only cook for 2 people and they are very accommodating, cutting me smaller pieces if it's possible. I was just there today, had a pleasant conversation about pork butt and the dinner I made with it it was delicious. I also suggest joining their rewards program. I buy my steak and pork exclusively from them so every so often I end up with $10+ off."
