"Amazing service. Great location as well. Cozy little place. The couple who own the property are so nice and accommodating. I would totally stay there again."
"This was an amazing B&B close to waterville valley. Super cozy and quaint, loved the wood burning stoves and the beautiful old home. It felt like visiting family. The owners are super friendly and cook you delicious homemade breakfast in the morning. They had many options. I stayed here with 4 of my college friends and we all had a great time. I’d definitely recommend this B&B to my friends and I hope to come back next season!"
"Not surprised about the set up - aged house, cold room, creaking headboard and old sheets. But really surprised and shocked with the rudeness and attitude of the hosts right from check in to check out in a one night stay. I had booked a suite for our family of 2 adults and a 5 yr old kid. "Suite 2, thru the house, 2nd floor, right door" was the instruction on a board when we entered the house. one side of the house was light turned off, so ventured to the side with light on and saw a staircase to 2nd floor, but that is just a room without any doors. Came down, found another closed door, getting close by, saw that with number "5", realized i should be looking for the room with number "2" on it. Walked through the dark side of the house, found another staircase to 2nd floor and there it was room "2". At that moment, a person rushing in to the room with agitated tone "are you trying to find your room? why are you going all over the house? i have guests in the other room, they wont like you going over their room" .. the only room i entered in the other side of the house was empty! I did not know who he was, he didn't bother to introduce before talking in a rude tone. Asked him "are you the host" he replied he was the owner. i told him "my bad! not sure which direction to go at a new place with instruction as 'thru the house'. better direction or lights on would have helped". He said he could check the camera if the staircase door was closed or open when i entered! Unwarranted. Next morning was even worse. They had a check in paper where we had mentioned breakfast time as 8. Our fault that we got down to breakfast area at 8:18. First words from the lady host (did not introduce herself, so assuming) were "decided to get breakfast, huh? some coffee and juice left if you want. You did not come for breakfast at 8, so we decided you didn't want breakfast. we are closed". Instruction left in the room said breakfast served until 8:30. I was not bothered about not getting breakfast, agreed, we did not get there in time. But it was insulting the way they talked to guests at their house! Rudest and hostile hosts I've ever met. We right away vacated that place. This treatment is after receiving 2 notifications(during booking and checked in) and i had agreed too, that they will charge for the 3rd guest - my kid."
"My wife and I stayed here for a couple nights to avoid the high costs of staying right on Waterville Valley, and we're very happy we did. Sure, you don't get as much, but we had a bed, a private bathroom, and a great breakfast included each day. Troy and Christina are very friendly. Check-in and -out are as easy as can be. They provided a phone number to call or text any time, but we never had reason to do so. My only warning would be that if you're not completely comfortable on stairs, choose a room on the first floor. The stairs are a bit narrow in depth and width. I would look forward to staying here again!"
"Great overnight stay at the charming Sunny G. Home away from home. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The host, Christina and Troy are very accommodating and super friendly. Delicious breakfast cooked by Troy. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend this quaint little farmhouse."
