"Staying at The Post Office was a great experience. Everything needed was provided in the kitchen, and the beds were tremendously comfortable. We had a wonderful view of Spofford Lake but unfortunately did not make the time to enjoy a warming fire in the firepit on the beach. Thank you!"
"Such a beautiful place to get away and enjoy. The cottage I stayed in was absolutely perfect. So clean, they provided everything possible to make your stay more enjoyable. You have access to a beautiful lake with boats and life jackets. Everyone I met was friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back again."
"Thankfully I wasn't in my cabin much because it was very small, poorly lit, had a refrigerator that wasn't cold enough, a very soft bed, a shower smaller than a phone booth, and was missing the light bulb outside the door (which made for a difficult time entering the key code after dark.) However, it was clean and basic paper and cleaning products were supplied. The beach area was beautiful."
"We absolutely loved our stay at The Cottages a Spofford Lake. The communication with the owner was very prompt when I had questions about booking. The Cottages have everything you need - sure, they are small, but they are meant to be! They have comfy beds, everything you would need in the kitchen, and a bathroom. The AC and fan in the cottage kept it nice and cool. We stayed in the School House and brought our toddler and dog, it was cozy, but we spent most our time outdoors anyways. The property has plenty of picnic tables, grills, and space outside which was nice. We didn't get the chance to use it, but would plan to in the future. The lake is gorgeous, and while the beach is small, while we were there it wasn't crowded. There are plenty of beach toys, chairs and other things for guests to use. We are looking forward to returning and exploring more of the nearby towns as well."
"Perfect location to lake, wish they had shared not so close to local dining which was 15min drive to Brattelboro or Keene. There are lots of no dogs on grass signs all to the left of property when facing cottages however the right side is more private drive that leads to empty dead end grassy area which was perfect for my pup. Super nice maintenance guys on site were there doing prep for 4th and it was nice to speak with one in particular who even shared quick recommendation for butchers for the awesome well functioning grills outside. Sat by picnic tables for dining and enjoyed the sleeping quarters, just wish ac didn't hit the face and body being right up next to bed."
