"The food here was excellent! We had lamb curry, lentil curry, a cauliflower 65 & a samosa chaat. Everything was delicious. The place was very busy with one waiter, but he acknowledged everyone who walked in, got take out orders to people & seated everyone. The food came out quickly. Definitely recommend this restaurant."

"The food seemed to have an overwhelming taste of cumin powder. The samosa and pork chilli seemed to have a lot of excess oil and pork was a little chewy even though the sauce flavor was good. Just about average overall."

"Great authentic Indian food! Lots of different options on the menu. Opted for the butter chicken and bread. The food was EXCELLENT! The chicken was perfectly cooked. It even had wonderfully crunchy edges. The sauce was delicately spiced and blended. Perfect mix of sweet and spicy that you crave when you’re done. Would absolutely eat here again."

"They could use more staff as it was packed for Sunday lunch. But they still managed to get people seated and took orders without too much of a wait. The pakora was surprisingly light for a fritter. I’m glad that the chicken biryani still had good heat even with the mild level of spice I requested. The butter chicken was ok, nothing special. This place was a welcome alternative to all the bar food and pizza in the immediate area."

"The food was incredible. This is probably the best Butter Chicken I have ever had outside of my Indian friend's. I've never had a restaurant get the flavors so perfect! Their bread is so tasty too. I highly recommend Laliguras. The atmosphere is awesome right across from City Hall on Church Street. Definitely give this restaurant a try if you're in Burlington. You won't be disappointed."
