"Pizza 44 catered my husband and I's welcome party for our wedding weekend. We had an absolutely awesome experience working with them. Chris was extremely helpful and responsive, making sure we had the right amount and variety of food for our group of 50 and made the ordering process so easy. The food was great, which is impressive making so many pizzas of all different kinds. They really have something for all palettes. Our friends and family talked about how delicious it was all night. It was the perfect way to kickoff our celebrations. Thank you, Pizza 44!"
"I'm an out of state reviewer but I've just about had all the pizza here in my one month stay and I keep coming back here. Their crust isnt completely black on the bottom. It's just the right amount. They are a little pricey but to me, it's worth it for the quality. I got the margherita pizza and CYO. Both were excellent. Good selection of beverages as well. Garlic knots were SUPER garlicky but also very good."
"Wood fired pizza and it's not burned! Yay! My husband enjoys building our own. So delicious. We've been twice and the service is excellent. Give it a try!!"
"Tried pizza 44 for the first time a couple of days ago and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it is. The pizza was cheesy, the pepperoni was nice and spicy, and the crust was well cooked. I think the crust is the most critical aspect of a good pizza and Pizza 44 had a nice, crisp, wood oven crust which was appreciated. Too often are pizzas loaded with toppings and the crust is a soggy, floppy mess ruining the pizza. That is not the case at Pizza 44. I tried some of the wings also, but was underwhelmed with the texture. The skin was mushy, but the flavor was good. Overall I really enjoyed my experience getting a pizza from Pizza 44."
"Overall I would say this was a 3 star experience. We enjoyed our pizza and salad but the meatballs were not great. The space was very clean and the decor was nice and modern. The shared bathrooms with Queen City were clean and we appreciated the general neutral aspect and the baby changing mat. We found it annoying that they did not have a beer list, so we were trying to read the taps while people were waiting impatiently behind us. The worker was a little unsure about which beers were on tap. Even a handwritten list or a quickly typed up paper would have been super helpful. There were tons of employees, maybe as many as customers when we got there, so it seemed like someone could have done that easily. The main thing we found completely obnoxious was the lack of high chairs. We've been all over town all week and this is the first time this has happened to us, even at small breweries that barely had any food we found high chairs, so to walk into a pizza place and be told they don't have high chairs is completely baffling. We only came here because our kids were hungry and other places we wanted to go weren't serving dinner yet. In hindsight we should have just waited. It wasn't terrible, but with so many other wood fired pizza options in the area, we wouldn't bother going back."
