"We had a great day at Prescott farm!! We learned about maple sugaring, we scouted out a tree and drilled it and tapped it and watched in amazement as sap freely flowed from the spigot we placed and dripped into the bucket we hung from the tree. We then hiked to the sugar shack where they demonstrated how they reduced the sap 67% sugar content. Finally we hiked to the new kitchen building where we watched them put the finishing touches on the syrup."
"The Finnish Holiday bread class was great. Can’t wait to bake the finished product at home!"
"THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!!! Great place for kids of all ages to explore. You can spend 4-5 hours easily walking the trails. Enhance your experience by purchasing on of the adventure packs for kids containing flash cards of things to find, information about animals, and other things to keep an eye out for. Don't forget to see the play area in the forest, there is so much to do. My family and I had a wonderful time exploring yesterday, everyone was so kind. Masks are required to enter the education center. Restrooms are also located inside the education center."
"What a great place to explore with the kids! Excellent marked trail system and we absolutely loved the natural play area in the woods."
"What a wonderful trip. We went during maple season and learned so much about the history, how to locate maple trees, the tapping process and the sugar shack evaporation procedure. Of course the tasting was the best part. Beautiful scenery, a great little hike and helpful staff."
