Weirs Beach

"So Weirs gets a bad reputation based on the amount of trash on the beach. But, the parks crew that maintains the beach works their butts’ off to clean up after the place gets mauled by crowds on the summer weekends. Go during the week. It’s nice."

"Weirs beach in winter was very quiet Great to bring kids and pets for walk and obviously yourself. Summer time is very busy so it might be hard to capture the serenity of the beach. I definitely enjoyed my walk without presence of crowd mid December."

"Great spot to stop for a picnic - parking is only $2.50 an hour and it wasn't very crowded even on a Friday night. Nice sectioned off area for swimming, picnic tables, and bathrooms!"

"We love Weirs Beach, it's a perfect place to spend time with family. Not dog friendly, no smoking and grilling is no longer allowed on the beach. You can enjoy the water, kids can enjoy the playground, beach strip, go on a cruise or ride the Mt. Washington train. We had a blast!!"

"I didn't really sit at the beach, just stopped by cause I haven't been in years. I thought there was going to be alot more people at the beach being such a nice day, but weren't that many people here. I feel like there used to be a lot more little shops and places to eat around this area, but things must have changed."
