"The natural scenery is breathtaking. Unfortunately, the water quality is not the best. Duck itch seems to be a prevalent factor in this regard. Also there can,at times, be other unsavory issues. Overall, if you just want to enjoy the outdoors, I think it is naturally beautiful. Best time to visit is off season and during the earlier periods of the daylight hours."
"Nice park to bring the kids to when they are small. I wish it had a little more playground equipment for the children that are not quite pre-teen but not toddler age anymore. The skate park is also there which is nice for teens. The track is in very nice condition."
"Disgusting! Both beaches at this park are the filthiest foulest beaches I have ever seen. Both beaches are covered with poop from ducks and Canada Geese. A beach that is provided for public use should be inspected and cleaned first thing every morning during the summer months. Wasted my time driving here."
"Free parking, not crowded, beach and bath house access are all a plus. Unfortunately the beach was absolutely covered by what looked like weeks of duck/goose waste and dog mess. Especially with a big week like the Fourth you'd think the town would clean up the hot spots. Nice lake if you're just launching your kayak in though."
"Nice little beach to sit and enjoy with young children with a small playground and picnic tables. There is beautiful track to get your walk or run in, and a an enclosed skateboard area. All around quite nice!"
