"The kids had a blast. It was kinda messy though. People need to have more respect for public parks. Clean up after yourself. But the small playground is nice for the kids. Not always overly populated like some beaches. Having the bathrooms is nice. The debris is manageable due to it being almost like a cove. Could do without the homeless asking me for a smoke or if I smoke. Well I'm trying to feed my kids. Or them staring at me or my girlfriend"
"Quiet beach, not dirty, has a few item playground, no lifeguards, few picnic tables, closed bathrooms (we were there late), a portapotty available. Nice view as well"
"My husband and I were staying in Laconia with a relative's dog and we found this dog friendly beach. It was fairly clean and we would definitely go back."
"I grew up near this beach, so I have real local knowledge of it. In the summer the current and wind bring a lot of debris to this area. The city is usually pretty God about cleaning it up, but not always. Sunset here can be amazing! With the right conditions, of course. Please pack out what you pack in and keep our beaches beautiful ."
"Great place to bring small children for swimming. The water at the rope is about knee deep on my 6ft tall husband. Both my 2 and 4 yo comfortably and confidently played in the water all the way to the ropes. There is plenty of beach space, some picnic tables, clean bathrooms, swings and some playground equipment."
