"Located right in the village at Stratton Mountain, Fire Tower Restaurant & Tavern was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere, service, menu and cuisine was to die for. The grilled trout was amazing. Highly recommend getting reservations. Will definitely be back!"
"Nice approach from the outside that draws you in. Ambiance upon entering. Pretty good. Then you sit down and the menu opens. And everything takes a dive. Myself and my family are really big on eating out. The menu has very limited selection and really nothing to offer. We ordered the “lump crab meat and gnocchi”. Joke. $38 for $3 gnocchi and finely shredded crab meat. If that is what it was, (tasted like S*#T). NO LUMP, in a “wine sauce” which was like white water. My son had the smash burger. Basically a greasy Burger King pattie for $29 and some Mckain French fries. If that wasn’t enough. My wife who doesn’t drink ordered a seltzer with lemon. NEVER have iv been charged for seltzer. They charged me as soda for $4. All said and done. With no app and no desert. We got a $186.72 bill before tip and cause they added 2.7% for cc for 3 gnocchi dishes, a burger, and 2 beers. Never will I step foot in the place again. As a kicker. Upon walking out, the hostess said. Thank you. Come again. My response? THANKS FOR NOTHING, as my 14 yr old son. Giggled as we strolled out. Choose wisely."
"I’m going to start with the best things here. The wings and the peppermint ice cream. Our waitress was nice. The atmosphere was nice, nothing special. The worst was my $20 martini that was half filled, my “medium-well” burger that was completely raw, and my disgusting Pasta bolognese that wasn’t even Al dente, with the meat on top resembling dog food. The biscuits were hard as a rock, and the pizza was a little less tasty than Chuck E. Cheese’s. Decent sized menu, although they were out of a lot of items. we canceled our reservation somewhere else because someone had recommended this place and we’re extremely disappointed. The waitress saw how raw the burger was and took it back and did not charge us thankfully, but even after she saw that I took not one bite of the pasta after tasting or not one bite of the pizza after tasting, she did not take that off the check don’t waste your time or money here"
"Great service. Ahi nachos were great and so were friend pickle chips. Bao buns I wouldn’t highly recommend, much smaller portion than others. Flatbreads were good"
"Great dining experience! From the hostesses to the bartender the entire staff was friendly and accommodating. I ordered the lamb chop lollipops (highly recommended) and the ramen and was beyond satisfied. Nice restaurant for a romantic dinner, or an outing with the family."
