Sushi Yoshi

"We were looking for a hibachi place in VT and were so excited to dine here. Unfortunately, we should have trusted the reviews. The table seats around 8 people and for some reason all 3 of us were put in one corner so not only was our view limited, but we also could not speak to each other comfortably. That was the least of our concerns because this was without a doubt the most boring hibachi experience any of us have ever had. The chef kept staring off into the distance and never spoke to us. We just sat in silence staring at the food being made. He also forgot all of our shrimp before we mentioned it, and massively overcooked the steak. Nothing much happened besides the basic onion volcano. Everything was so atrociously salty that I could not ingest it, so I guess it was lucky that the waiter asked us to pack it up not even 10 minutes after our food was given. I would rather pay the 200$ that I spent here to avoid this place instead."

"During my trip to Vermont, I had the pleasure of dining at Sushi Yoshi, and I was thoroughly impressed by every aspect of my experience – the food, drinks, service, and atmosphere. I ordered the Happy Family dish, and I found everything on my plate to be exceptional – the flavors, textures, and level of spiciness were all spot-on. I also enjoyed a delicious Japanese beer called Sapporo. What more can I say? As someone who truly appreciates great food and a wonderful atmosphere, I can confidently say that I will definitely be returning on my next trip to Vermont. Five stars from me!"

"Weekend and Sushi Yoshi was in walking distance....and I've always wanted to try this place. Hibachi was the choice for the night! The waitress was decent but our Hibachi dude made the night. He was fun to talk with and he's been doing this forever. Food was wonderful and so filling. Fun little night! Recommend giving it a try."

"Waitress was good and informative, though she kept apologizing for delays from the sushi chef. I found the sushi and crab rangoon to lack flavor. The General Tso chicken and pork fried rice seemed to make up for the rest of the meal."
