"Loved the soup sampler. What a great idea! Service was great. The manager, Ben, came and made sure we were happy with our meal. It was delicious!!"
"We used to be regulars at living goods until their version of generating revenue drove out all the regulars. We always stuck up for the place and then they treated us like trash. Not worth it for mediocre food that is mostly always served cold, and service that is not great, other than a few good servers, the ones that are left anyways."
"I prefer writing good reviews, this is not one of those. Waitress was nice, but food took forever to come out. It was not busy. When food arrived, fries were luke warm. Burger didn't have much flavor but was cooked correctly. Once we were served we ate rather quickly and the waitress came with the check, so that was good. I've eaten here before, and it was good then, but now for $70, I expect more food, better quality and a shorter wait time. At the minimum, I'll take better food. I hate to say it but probably not coming back unless I see the reviews improve."
"07/22/2023- “ We ran out of pizza” READ RECENT REVIEWS BEFORE GOING! This place used to be good. But it’s going from 5 stars to 1 star. This is the second time in a row we’ve had a bad experience. The first time I left the 5 stars because I thought it may have been a fluke. I’m not sure what’s happened here, but it’s not good. Myself, wife and son stopped here for dinner tonight just to have pizza. We ordered some drinks and an appetizer of calamari(the calamari change from the original calamari that was smothered with oil, which I was excited about, but is not any better now, it tasted Burnt and dried and over cooked). When the waiter came back to take our order, we proceeded to order our pizzas which we were looking forward to, just to be told “oh we ran out of pizza”. How do you run out of pizza on a Saturday night a half empty restaurant? I believe it was because, it was after eight and they close at nine and they shut the oven down. Meanwhile, we sat there and everyone else around us were being served pizza . Pizza is 1/3 of the menu? I wish that had been told to us prior to ordering drinks and appetizer because we would’ve went to McDonald’s, instead we had mediocre chicken wings that were smothered and hot sauce that had so much cayenne that it left a bitter taste in your mouth. And my son ordered pasta with Alfredo sauce that literally tasted like milk thickened with flour. Totally disappointing. We literally should have gone to McDonald’s and wr would have not been so disappointed. Won’t be going back anytime soon and this is heartbreaking because we had our wedding reception here 20 years ago when it was crickets. But this place is gone right to the crapper. We've been several times and always great service, food and beer. Oct 20 2022- we order a couple pizzas to go… very disappointed. They were very bland and the crust was literally like trying to eat a piece of cardboard. The pizza definitely needs some work! Maybe just a bad night?"
"First I will start off by saying that the last time my husband and I came to Livingood’s was in December of 2022. Today June 18th 2023 We ordered French onion soups, they were not entirely filled with broth, the croutons were small and the cheese was non existent. When we finally found our cheese it was about a spoonful amount in the bottom of the bowl. This was very disappointing from how it used to be made, before it was a filled bowl, big crouton and nice broiled cheese on top. Today I ordered the fish and chips, I was given three chunks of fish that were not golden brown.I could not eat it because it was not done, the breading was white and the fish itself was pink. Again this is a meal I’ve had in the past before I used to get two golden brown fish pieces, today the amount I was served was literally one piece of the old serving size. My husband ordered the brisket sandwich, it was fully dressed but had no smoke flavor to it. Definitely not bbq. My husband went to culinary school and used to cook for two separate restaurants in our area. He was very disappointed when he saw that my fish was not GBD quality. And overall we are disappointed and won’t be going back. Our server Shawn was nice enough to discount our bill 4 dollars….I spent 61 plus a 20% tip. Brought my meal home, had my husband finish cooking it in the oven for 25 mins at 400 degrees."
