"Had a great stay here. The staff was great. Amanda and Carrie were especially great. But there wasn’t any employee that wasn’t kind and courteous, to be honest. The room was great. I truly appreciate a comfy bed with great pillows that are the correct size for the bed. We enjoyed the nice large hot tub. And the free breakfast in the morning was very good. There is a great Italian restaurant right next door that is outstanding."
"This was a great place to stay! We had to find a last minute hotel for the weekend and we were not disappointed. My friends and I had adjoining rooms, which was a major plus. Wifi was reliable, breakfast was great, and staff were super friendly and nice. Nicolle was so helpful all throughout the trip. I'd absolutely recommend staying here if you're in the area!"
"As an IHG Platinum Elite member I am in dismay. Staff is not willing to extend a courtesy refund for a room that was not used due to an emergency response to keep the power on in southern Vermont. My crew and I have practically lived in this hotel while working in the area to maintain the power grid for Vermont. To Nichole (General Manager), I hope you never have to experience a power outage and feel the despair it causes. We work hard day and night to deliver power to all of Vermont, and to be treated in this way is disgraceful whether it is by your hand or the corporation you represent. Thank goodness there are nicer folks in Vermont willing to share rooms or apartments in their homes. They are gracious, and genuinely appreciate their guests. BTW for anyone reading…..these rooms and apartments are less expensive and cleaner by far! So don’t bother booking in this run down place. You won’t be respected. It’s a nice place for the homeless though."
"We recently stayed there for two nights while in the area for a funeral. We found the rooms to be clean and well suited for our needs. However, the heating unit was something out of the Jurassic Era and it made some horrible clunking noises when it turned on in the middle of the night. When we tried to lower the temperature, so it would not come on, more noise and the air conditioning came on. We also had trouble with the clock when we tried to get it off daylight saving time. The breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast; nothing fancy but it did the trick. The best part of the outfit was a man at the front desk named Nikesh. He was polite, friendly, and accommodating and a great first impression of the franchise. I would hire him in a minute. When we had a food order delivered one evening, he went into the eating area, turned the lights on and even opened up the breakfast area and brought us out a couple of paper plates and plastic spoons without our even asking. A fine young lad. One thing puzzled me about the check-in process. We had filled out all the data online. We were asked for ID; OK. Then we were asked for all the data again so the lady could verify names, address, telephone numbers, email address, CC data etc. to her computer screen Then we were handed a sheet to sign and initial regarding a smoking fine. All good but we had to manually write all the name, address, phone number, email address, etc. etc. all over again. Couldn't a sheet with all that info just be printed off so all we had to do was initial the smoking warning, add our car data, and then sign it?????"
"Rooms appear new with a fresh remodel but the structure is very old. Floors creek and can hear neighboring guests often. The staff is very helpful and the breakfast wasn’t bad. The pool was really gross though, green water and not clean."
