"Knickercain Islands Recreation Area has a dozen or so picnic tables, each with a small charcoal grate. There is a composting toilet. The adjacent water impoundment is a lobster pool. Nice views downriver!"
"Cute little place along the water. Plenty of parking room and cool sites to see when wandering around. There is a boat ramp for kayakers to use and across the street there is a larger ramp and parking area for boats. Traffic isn't hectic and its not far off the main roads. Decent location to stop and have lunch and look around. Very peaceful!!"
