"Front trail parking is alongside the road. I imagine the house up the way gets a lot of turnaround traffic at the end of it's driveway. Hiking the front trail is an excellent challenge for the mind body and soul. Take it as slow or fast as you desire. Hiking the back trail from Kilgore Lane is a more easy hike with a steady incline for those who prefer an easier path. Both are great for families. A fun place to pick blueberries! The back side always takes longer for me as the trail is stretched out and the front is basically straight up. Both have beautiful scenery and I have twice through the years seen a hare. As there are two trails up one I rate moderate to hard pending the day and one easy. Rating is based on skill/hiking fitness level so what I view as such may not hold true for you. Noth are out and backbtrails unless you leave one vehat each end you could hike up one side and down the other. Happy hiking! Don't forget water! and maybe a snack. :) "
"I have hiked it several times. This is a nice trail. It does not take much time to get to the top. It is only 1.3 miles."
"Great hike! Very secluded location. Park on the side of the road on Streaked Mountain Road. Uphill climb most of the way, you will definitely need boots or walking sticks. Great views from the top! But no access to the fire tower."
"Plenty of parking, there's no need to block the farmer's field. A nice hike, pretty steep at times, so good shoes are a must."
"I love that this trail is here and its remotely hidden.. you have to know where it is to find it. The trail is maintained and is fairly challenging. It is a small turnout area just before the large white house on the left. There is no sign along the Rd but it does have one partially into the trail. Be sure to wear good sturdy non slip shoes for the ledge portion of the trail. There are several places I like to stop just to see a pretty view and up top there is an open area to sit and soak up some sun. There are a lot of painted signs to guide you along the way but you have to really look for them."
