"Good trail need to be in shape and have good balancd to walk of the trail from all of the roots and constant changing terrain"
"Enjoyed doing this hike! But I would vote with others that it is Moderate and not Easy when doing it just after a rain. The millions of exposed tree roots along the path are slippery as can be, and try to trip you as well. Hiking sticks are almost mandatory if you’re over 60 (I’m 75). Even with them, I slipped to the ground twice coming down. No real harm done except pride and realizing balance at 75 is not the same as 45. Duh! Trail is well marked with blue paint, but don’t miss the hard left turn rock staircase up to your left about .2 miles in. Trail looks like it continues straight but doesn’t. You’ll find out quickly enough! Great fun and challenge!"
"Best water fall hike I have been on. Trail is not easy, I would consider it moderate. Tricky for younger kids but doable. It poured rain on our way back making is slippery but views and serine forest was worth it."
"This is a great short hike. The trail is uneven over roots and some rocks. It is well marked and easy to follow. The GPS to the tried to take us the Big Wilson falls which is at the end of the trail. When we stopped at the parking area, the Google Maps said we still had 1.2 miles to go. It is the end of the road so you can't miss it. The access road is in rough shape. You don't need 4 wheel drive but, a vehicle with some ground clearance is a good idea. It was nice to wade around in the stream at the top of the falls."
