"This place is so fun and welcoming! Cary is like your cool aunt who might be magical, lives in a playful mansion, and loves having visitors. (She is a wonderful host!) We got to stay in the Bus, which was a super fun place to sleep. I hope to come back with my spouse and kids. I liked the cleanliness and friendly notes about how to keep the space great for everyone. Breakfast was delicious and so much fun with the other guests. One of the great things Cary does is call guests ahead of time to find out their plans and needs for their trip."

"We had a wonderful stay at Cary's place! It's a really unique, safe, and special place nestled in the woods of beautiful Westport Island. We felt instantly welcomed and at home, like staying at a friend's house. The room itself is private and comfy, and there's a shared full bathroom across the hall. There's tons of space outdoors to relax, from the hammocks to the porch to the firepit area. Bonus that you get to hang out with the sweetest cat and dog that live there, too. In the morning Cary cooked up a delicious breakfast that included homemade blueberry muffins and a big frittata with fresh veggies from her garden! The thing I enjoyed most though was chatting around the campfire with other guests staying there as well as with Cary herself. Places like Cary's are valuable and serve as an antidote to our modern world that can so often be filled with disconnection and isolation from those around us. Take a chance and try something new!"

"We have traveled and stayed all over and this place is on top of our list for most unique and fun. We tell our friends about it all the time. We will definitely be coming back. We stayed on the bus and throughly enjoyed ourselves. There were props to enhance our experience and get some great pictures. Everywhere you turned there was something quirky and new to look at. The grounds were fun with a cool little hippie vibe. This place is all about kicking back and enjoying the outdoors. What I didn’t expect was the comfort level we felt with all of the other guests and the owner Cary. At night we all came together around the campfire and visited and got to know each other. We were from all walks of life but around that campfire we were new friends. Cary the owner joined us and we laughed and laughed. When we travel we seek out the unusual and fun and this place is all of that. Life is too short not to push yourself out of your comfort zone and have new adventures, Cary delivers with her cute little get away. Can’t wait to go back! "I loved my stay at happy hippie lane! Everyone who was staying there was absolutely amazing and gave a real family feel. I even joked about an older gentleman being my travel grandpa. Cary was an amazing host and made delicious breakfast each morning for the guests! My room was clean and comfortable and provided me with an oasis escape away when I needed some space. The grounds around the property have gorgeous trails and lots of neat plants to be surrounded by! My dog and I had an amazing time exploring all the outdoors that the area had to offer! In the evening, we got cozy around a fireplace and shared travel stories with great people from all around the world. The property had lots of games to play too, so there was always something fun to do! As a solo female traveler, I always felt safe and cared for. At the end of my stay, I gifted Cary a sunflower sprout, which she grew in her garden and then sent a picture at the end of the summer when it had bloomed! She has always been so warm and kind, and I would love to go back and visit! 10/10 recommend to everyone!"

"Stayed here for the end of Winter... Cary was awesome and friendly! Her pup loved to play! We got in some fun card games at night upstairs and chatted about adventures we all had and want to have! The room was comfortable, an easy place to relax and unwind from a long work week! And I was there long enough to see the Ospreys return to the Island! If you're going to be in the area...
