"I wanted to drive up the scenic byway (Old Canada) and I share a last name with the Brewery here. I stayed the night in one of their lodge rooms, which was perfectly satisfactory. The bed was comfortable, I slept like a rock, there was lots of hot water for my shower, and while there were several large groups staying in the cabins nearby, the noise wasn't bad at all! The staff was really nice, and I ate at the restaurant in the lodge: delicious. Beer: great."

"Return trip from last fall. This time went on whitewater rafting trip....fantastic!!! Parker was an exceptional guide, very personable and knowledgeable of the area. Breathtaking views along the river. And the team actually cooked a fabulous hot lunch along the river. The resorts Pub/Restaurant was great, the food and the service top-notch. Long drive up from Central New Jersey, but certainly worth the trip"

"Took the family on an outdoor vacation hoping to enjoy cooler Fall weather (we are from Raleigh) and catch the leaves turning. Although Mother Nature didn’t cooperate (Leaves haven’t turned yet) we had a great time at Northern Outdoors. We loved our cabin, had a great time rafting with Molly who was knowledgeable and fun. Lunch on the trip was shockingly good, even the picky eater kids loved it. The river was a very good run with plenty of bumps and dumps. Beers and photo after the trip were a lot of fun too! Highly recommend Northern Outdoors"

"Wonderful location and cozy cabin for an outdoorsy experience! Cabin was small but comfortable and clean with all the necessary amenities. Satellite TV was a nice bonus for the one rainy morning we had. Interior of cabin was originally damp and musty, but that cleared out once we opened a few windows. Our only complaint was that the bed was way too soft and was uncomfortable, but in this case we were fine with it, we weren't looking for the Ritz, we were looking to get back to nature. Cabin setting is private, and we enjoyed evening firepits in such a nice peaceful setting. Not many ATVs went by, and they were not very noisy. Cabin area was calm, no rowdy drunks or bad behavior like other places. Our ATV adventure was perfect as well, and our guide Logan was awesome! The front desk and restaurant have great service and delicious food. We would absolutely return."
