We had multiple wonderful conversations with her, she told us all about the shop and the goods, she was incredibly helpful, and she handled everything we bought with care and consideration. The figures and jewelry are lovely and obviously very well made and fair priced. Next time I’m in Maine, I will definitely be back."

"I went into the store this past Saturday with the intention of buying their nativity set. The woman in the store was so rude and surly to me I walked out. Too bad for Danforth Pewter. Also too bad for the old port in the whole. She gives an impression Mainers are rude. Being from Maine, I must say, that is not how we are. I do not reccomend this store."
