"I went in to do an even exchange and was denied. More detail: the jeans I was gifted were too small. All tags were on. They said they didn't know what price they were sold at. It's an even exchange. What does it matter? Put the ones I am exchanging on the shelf and sell them at today's price! The associate was not comprehending a core concept of retail. I suspect she is a fell omen, haunting the store."
"I used to like Madewell products but I was very disappointed by today's interaction at the store. Came to return/exchange a Christmas gift and got rejected on bases of "too late to return". It is 14th of January. I have been traveling for Christmas so I did not have time to go over my Christmas gifts until now. Couldn't even return for the store credit...If this is how they are doing business then I hope they don't have a lot of it. Unacceptable costumer service! I will do my shopping elsewhere."
"They do not follow the hours they have posted online/in person and must have enough business not to need more. Came within 10-15 minutes of closing and they locked the door in our face."
