"Beautiful location. Comfortable, clean and with all needed amenities."
"Nice fishing"
"We had great relaxing time, never too hot, wonderful breezes, our dog loved her time there!"
"Stayed here July 10-12 and Dave greeted us upon arrival. We truly enjoyed talking to him about the cabin, the area and things in general. What great hosts he and his wife Rose are. All three nights were comfortable compared to the high humidity we are used to. We had kayaks and a canoe right outside our door which we used on the Moose River on two days. The cabin was very clean and cozy. It was nice and private and not in a large grouping of cabins. There are two in this area. Dave and Rose live right across the street and if you need anything, they are more than helpful. My wife and I made breakfast two days for our family and we have nothing but good things to say about staying here. It's about 30 minutes north of Greenville which is a nice drive. Thank you Dave and Rose for a really nice time!"
"Just returned from a three night stay at the Moose River Camps in Rockwood, Maine. David and Rose, the owners, live across the street and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Four of us stayed at Firefly, 15 on Rte 15/6. The cabin was rustic but well equipped with dishes, cooking equipment to make hearty meals. All linens, towels, kitchen "stuff" (not food) was provided. The cabin is about 10 -15 feet from the Moose River with Mt. Kineo on Moosehead Lake clearly visible. The neighborhood is quiet except on Monday morning we noticed some noise from traffic on Rte. 15 which the cabin is located on. It is a beautiful part of the country and Dave and Rose are very good hosts. Due to their advice on exploring some of the more rural roads in the deep woods, we saw two bull moose in there natural habitat, eating. We would go back happily."
