"I had a great experience with the providers I saw during my treatment at LifeStance and they were very kind, flexible, and accommodating. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend them because of how terrible the billing and patient records experience has been. I had a change in insurance partway through my treatment and as a result, my old insurance was billed by mistake for some of my visits. I have contacted them countless times requesting to resubmit the claims to my new insurance to which they have not done so and keep messaging me threatening collections. Additionally, they have failed to fulfill multiple requests to release my records to my PCP which has created major headaches for my prescription of a controlled substance. LifeStance is just another example of a local provider outsourcing most tasks to larger regional and national offices who neglect to provide adequate service and it's beyond frustrating. I would advise steering clear of them to avoid hassles down the road."
