"I had a wonderful experience at MFM. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and kind. Facility is clean and bright. Dr. Betz was compassionate and took the time to answer all of my questions. I was very impressed by the quality of care I received here. Thank you."
"Will not return to this MFM clinic. I had an extremely negative experience here with a Dr. Alexandria Betz. I was referred to Dr. Betz to confirm a suspected fetal issue that was found by my regular ob/gyn. Dr. Betz was not only unable to diagnose the issue, but I found her to be oddly uninformative and completely unforthcoming with general information that I needed and asked for. She asked me to come back in 3 weeks and I left the appointment with zero information and a contradictory POV to my regular ob, who was confident in the original diagnosis. Uneasy and anxious after the appointment at this clinic, I did my own research and uniformly found inconsistencies with Betz’s requested timeline and when my issue was possible and clear to diagnose. I called for a second opinion in Boston at Brigham & Women’s and got in a short time later. To them, and as evident to my regular ob/gyn, my ultrasound was a “super clear”, “slam dunk” diagnosis – they (two different B&W doctors) were very surprised that the MFM specialist in Portland was not comfortable diagnosing prior. My experience with this doctor was one of complete incompetency. I will not return to this clinic for future pregnancies and will gladly drive to Boston for any MFM needs."
"I’m on my fourth pregnancy so going and having ultrasounds isn’t anything new. This place is by far the worst place Iv ever gone too. I forget the ultra tech name but she’s the oldest one working with short blond hair. She’s awful. I have had her twice, the first time I wanted to write a review but didn’t because I thought she was just having a bad day. Well nope she was just as bad the second go. She doesn’t make you feel comfortable at all. Not explaining much, extremely rough that my belly hurt both times because she was digging into me so hard. With all my other kids I have the best ultrasound pictures of hands feet and side profile. Both time seeing this lady she given me two pictures that were horrible. You don’t even know what your looking at. She complained the whole time when she couldn’t get a image making me and my husband feel very awkward. This lady shouldn’t be in this field or working with pregnant women. We come to these places to feel good and excited about our babies and comfortable about the information we are learning about our growing child. I’d make sure if you make an appointment here you don’t get this lady."
"This is a great place I’m so thankful to have this team following me through my pregnancy, they are an in demand place so make sure when your scheduling an appointment to not be in a rush. Some of the patients that come in are very rude and aggressive towards the nice staff. I try to make sure to thank them on my way out , had it not been for this center I would have had to travel to Boston to receive care, due to the nature of my pregnancy my regular Obgyn recommended this place for ultrasounds at certain stages of my pregnancy, because they are familiar with high risk pregnancies. The reviews below are likely people who meet the descriptions of the patience described earlier, thank you MMP"
"Upon first arrival the nurse was a little rude but as I tried to make conversation she was fine with me. I was only in the waiting room for a total of 15 minutes even being early to my appointment. The ultrasound tech was an absolute saint and answered every question I had and gave me a very good description of everything she was doing. Overall I would say I had a pleasant visit but I was also only there for an ultrasound."
