"In July 2013, at age 23, I had surgery to remove a tumor from my frontal lobe and was subsequently diagnosed with a Grade 3, Anaplastic Astrocytoma. Dr. Weaver has been my doctor since shortly after the diagnosis and my family and I absolutely love her. While of course like any specialist (even more hectic during the COVID-19 pandemic, as expected) there may be waiting times and hiccups, but I have never ever felt rushed once I get in. She is extremely caring and sweet and takes her time to make sure she answers any questions. My scans and appointments are now 8-9 months apart and she always remembers details about our personal lives that have came up in prior appointments; for example my mom’s job, my boyfriend and I moving, she asks about my grandparents, just little things that make it feel more personal. I have been living down in NYC/Westchester for several years and continue to make the trip up to Albany for my follow up’s solely due to her and her staff. I highly recommended her to anyone in need of a neuro-oncologist in the capital region!! She’s the best!!"
