About the Business
Kennebec Clay Works is a pottery studio located at 133 Mount Vernon Avenue in Augusta, Maine, United States. Our classes are held on Wednesdays and Thursdays, with make-up sessions available on Friday, April 5th from 6-8:30pm or Saturday, April 6th from 10-12:30. We will resume our regular schedule next week.

"We went for the Try-It Night, and it was SO FUN!! They keep the class small, so you get plenty of attention from the instructor. That was a major point of success with this program. It's such a quick 2 hours, but if you listen to the instruction, you can leave with multiple pieces of pottery YOU made! The knowledge was fun to apply to the physical movement. There's so much to keep in mind all the time, so it is absolutely difficult at first!! Don't expect to be good at it, if you're a beginner!! It takes SO MUCH STRENGTH and posturing, and it's easy to slip out of proper technique. This class gives you a good taste of that, for the money. I want to look into some of their regular classes, so I can practice and get consistent. I think it could be a really fun hobby."
