"I simply cannot say enough great things about this experience! We booked a 2 hour sunset sail and it was the highlight of our entire trip to Maine. We sailed on the Wendameen and the boat itself was stunning, the crew was so knowledgeable and kind! We sailed on a pretty windy day and it was just so exciting to watch the crew with the sails. Seeing Portland Head Light from the water was also amazing!"
"I had such a fantastic afternoon sail with Portland Schooner Co in August 2023! The crew were all very friendly and interactive with guests and offered several opportunities (all optional) to assist with hoisting the sails while they shared stories of the local area and its waterways. There is a public parking area next to the dock for easy guest access, and I had plenty of cell service throughout the 2-hour journey to capture pictures, research landmarks, etc. I highly-recommend this to anyone interested in a relaxing time on the water in a classic sailboat!!"
"Such an outstanding afternoon sail on the Bagheera. Captain Tripp, Cassie, and Ann were all wonderful and engaging with the fun mix of guests on board. We enjoyed a 3:30 cruise which took us near the Portland lighthouse. Many landmarks were pointed out.. Definitely a fun and relaxed sail on this beautiful and well maintained yacht. Many thanks to a great crew for a fun outing!"
"We took a 2 hour 10:30 am cruise on a Saturday morning in early August 2023. The weather was beautiful and so was the schooner. the captain and crew were expert sailors and we had a very enjoyable sail on Casco Bay. This is not a narrated tour, just pure sailing, but the captain and crew readily answered any questions. Book your tickets directly with the Schooner Company. We booked through a well known third party tour operator and paid way more than if we had booked directly. Definitely recommend this activity for a relaxing sail. The schooner was comfortable and spacious. No snacks are sold on board, but you can bring your own."
