"A friend of mine took me hunting grouse and woodcock late October to Moosehead Lake in Maine. Our guide was Eric Holbrook from Holbrooks Guide Service. We had a wonderful time and got both grouse and woodcock. Eric is a wonderful guide, easygoing, friendly and with a good sense of humor and fantastic knowledge of the land, birds and his dogs. Both he and his dogs were a real pleasure to hunt with and we have seen many flushes! I am definitely coming back next year."
