The Village at Clark Brook

"A beautiful apartment, amazing balcony view but poorly made, walls thin, carpet not correctly put in nor replaced or cleaned when I moved in. Hallways are always damaged or smell like cigarettes & vomit. No elevator in any building. The office rarely responded to my emails/calls & tried to scam me of money. Claiming I missed 2 months rent, when I brought the proof of my rent payment's the office worker claimed it wasn’t enough to confirm. Then I had brought up the fact the camera pointing in the direction of the drop box was a huge piece of evidence, the office worker had acted like she had never seen that camera before. A week later they had contacted via email acknowledging it was a mistake on their end (with no apology). Most of the neighbors are great! Unfortunately, I was on the third floor. It was awesome not having anyone above me, but even worse was having someone below me. With the poorly made building, the neighbor below could hear everything. Any type of loud sound was followed with a bang from the neighbor below. The neighbor started harassing my guests & I. She started verbally threatening & stalking me every time I made an outside appearance. Living in this apartment was truly one of the worst experiences I’ve had in a apartment complex. I only lived in this apartment for 1 year."

"My husband and I have lived here at The Village at Clark Brook for 5 years and we have been Very Happy. We love our apartment, the layout is great with lots of closet space. The kitchen has a middle island and also many cabinets. We absolutely love living here, it has everything anyone could need. The people are very friendly and when in your apartment it is extremely private. Like I stated above we love it here!"

"I've been here since October 2000. We've been waiting for the management to replace the rugs from the previous tenants. The management has changed 3 times since 2000. Just last year we have been emailing and calling the mgt reporting tenants smoking pot in their units, hallways, and stairwell. I'm highly allergic and even provided a legal letter from my immnuologigist. Now this year we have black fuzzy mold in all our water pipes, including our faucets, sinks, tub and shower head. I'm also highly allergic to mold and have been reporting this issue for 2 weeks. We have mold because our neighbors on the 3rd floor above us had a little flood in their bathroom and now we have mold. The State of NH has NO laws to support tenants who have mold in their apartments. BE CAREFUL ABOUT DECIDING TO RENT HERE. They have HORRIBLE service!"

"I have lived here for 6 months now and absolutely love it!! It’s still looks brand new inside and out of my apartment. Laundry on every floor! So great and convenient! The neighbors all keep to themselves and are pretty quiet. The maintenance guys are great, the people in the office are great! I cannot think of one single complaint! Best apartment I have ever lived in! The place I lived in before this had mold, leaks, no laundry and a slumlord. So this is 1000000x better! I couldn’t have found a better place!! Highly recommend!!"

"Never thought we’d like apartment living after years and years of home ownership, but we actually really like it here. All the neighbors we’ve met are very nice, it’s quiet, and the apartments are also very nice. Management is outgoing and friendly, and does the best they can with such a mix of people. The biggest problem I see is irresponsible dog owners not cleaning up after their dogs, and folks not moving their cars during cleanup after a snowstorm. Otherwise, it’s a great place."
