"Loved this place! The food and tea were delicious. The service was fantastic. We were a group of 7 and the waitress handled it easily. She was professional and friendly. Was there on a frigid cold day so it was uncomfortably chilly inside but since the house is over 100 years old it wasn't surprising that it wasn't well insulated. I'll definitely go back (in warmer weather)."

"This tea room has great potential however my experience was embarrassing . I took my daughter here for her birthday as she had not experienced "high tea" before. When we opened the menu it was printed upside down. Our tea sandwiches were clearly left out to long as the bread was dry, our scones were stale, there was no proper clotted cream for the scone and the sweets on top were in no way traditional to an English tea. There was a chocolate cookie with M&M's I can assure you that would not be served at a high tea. Oh, and we were served by a waiter wearing a Batman t-shirt. I really do believe with some attention to detail regarding the foods provided for the tea service and the wait staff dressed a bit better this establishment could be a great place to go. The tea cups, plates and tea pots were cute. The layout of the rooms and tables is on point."

"Had a great experience here! Highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time on their website, even for a weekday. Really enjoyed the tea sets, especially the soup of the day. Will need to come back again to try their Chicken Pot Pie -- looked fantastic!"
