Moonlight Inn

"I booked this motel based on the Google reviews. After checkin, I though am I reading a differnt review. This place is run by a East Indian family, The two I dealt with were friendly and wanted to help. This is positive, the sheets are on the whiter side and so are the towels. Everything else about this place says to run. Pay a bit more and stay somewhere else. It is an motel /Inn that houses out of state workers on a long term basis. We saw some of the guys and they are friendly. Othside the doors there is their stuff hanging out, shoes ,cans of cigarette buds, enter the room and there you are faced with a very dirty stained carpet. Beds that looked like someone else other than you mightvhave relaxed on it. Bathroom very tiny with hair still on the flootr and shoe prints. I asked if I can see another room, she was understanding and showed me 2 others but almost the same lack of clean. I am sleeping with my clothes on an escaping in the morning as fast as I can. I have uploaded my pics. The photos for this place on Google is a lie. Inly the outside looks like the same but older."

"The hotel is situated in a good part of the town. The owner was kind and helpful. The room was tidy, reasonably priced, and felt secure. It would be great if they could offer a complimentary breakfast. If I'm in the vicinity, I will stay here again."

"Room is clean and well stocked, BUT there is NO wifi or its like 1 bar. For the price, and the fact its 2023, the wifi should be much better. It is close to a Thai restaurant, take out only and a gas station convenience store (by walking). There are more restaurants close if you have a car (we were on bicycles)."

"We came to town for a reggae festival and couldn’t find a decent Airbnb in the area, so we decided to stay here. It’s a family owned place, and they were very friendly. The rooms were clean and the bed was super comfortable. I kinda wanted to stay in bed relaxing all day. The building is a little outdated, nothing fancy or charming, but meets your basic needs at a reasonable price."

"My 79-year-old mother and I had driven all day and just needed a clean place to spend the night. The Moonlight Inn was the PERFECT place. We arrived after 10pm, but thankfully there was still a friendly face in the office. The rate was well within our budget and the room included two queen beds, a microwave and a small refrigerator. While the layout and fixtures seem older, everything was spotlessly clean. For a longer stay, the small sink (which is outside the bathroom) may have been slightly problematic, but it was just fine for our purposes. The water pressure and temperature in the shower were good. I guess my only "complaint" is that the door/lock didn't feel as secure as I would prefer, especially being on the first floor. But we would absolutely stay here again!"
