"The hotel is older and you can tell they have done upgrqdes in an economical way, but the staff was AMAZING!! We had car trouble after driving for many hours, and it was after midnight. This was the closest hotel to us, so we walked in. Sunny was able to book us the last room. He greeted us kindly and warmly. He was super helpful, positive, and professional!! In the morning, Steve was at the front desk and was just as helpful and positive and kind!!! It's nice to know that even though we were worried about so much, they both helped us see the positive and helped us feel safe and secure. Thank you, Sunny and Steve!!!!"
"Sonny and his staff are super friendly, very clean rooms and they have an excellent breakfast. Close to downtown and Walmarts Right next door. Best place in cooks corner, definitely booking a room again soon."
"Booked accidentally. Despite discussing with Omar at the front desk within 1 hour of making the reservation, I was charged $220 as a penalty for canceling. I could understand $30-40 for their trouble, but $220 is ripping me off just because they can"
"After reading some of the reviews, I dreaded coming here, expecting bug infestations and blood stained sheets. Fortunately, that was not the case for us. Room and bathroom were clean, it was reasonably quiet, price was a bit steep at $221 for one night for 2 double bed room. Building and rooms are definitely dated, but has the usual amenities. No pool at this location. Fine way to end our trip when the place we were staying the rest of the week didn’t have weekend availability. Check out El Rodeo Mexican restaurant nearby."
