"Booked a solo two night stay here last minute (day of) for a wedding in Jackson and had a fantastic time. Donna and Doug were wonderfully kind and hospitable hosts. Great suggestions on Hikes and food, Donna even gave me a ride into town herself unprompted to save me on cab fare! Breakfast was fantastic, homemade French toast and Egg's Benedict. Ended both nights in the hot tub under the stars in the mountains, absolutely beautiful."

"The Buttonwood Inn is our favorite B & B. We have stayed here multiple times and continue to return. Donna and Doug are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. They are wonderful and gracious hosts, going above and beyond our expectations. The accommodations are warm and cozy. I love taking time to relax in between hiking and dinner to work on one of the fun wooden puzzles they have available, listening to the relaxing music playing in the background, and indulging on the freshly baked cookies and some tea. The breakfasts are scrumptious and I always look forward to eggs Benedict, French toast, fresh fruit, and freshly baked treats. My husband and I are looking forward to our next long weekend away and the opportunity to disconnect from our everyday stress and enjoy our time at the Buttonwood Inn again!"

"My husband & I recently stayed for a weekend and we enjoyed every moment! Buttonwood Inn is in an excellent location, and the grounds are absolutely beautiful. Our room was so cozy and homey, but still nice and private. Donna and Doug were so welcoming and friendly. And they prepared some delicious breakfast meals (we're still thinking about the chive biscuits)!! Truly an all-around lovely place with wonderful hosts."

"This is a special place. Staying at the Buttonwood Inn, particularly under the care of Donna-Marie and Doug, was a winter treat. My partner and I booked the Buttonwood last minute, and we couldn't be happier with our stay. The room was charming and cozy – something straight out of a Henry James novel. The 200-year-old house is full of character and was the perfect getaway. Everything was beautiful and extremely clean. Donna and Doug's commitment to sustainability – by providing bulk bath products – is illustrative of their overall attention to detail. The common areas are cozy and provided the perfect place to get some work done while the snow came down outside! Donna and Doug are wonderful conversationalists and some of the kindest people I've ever met. The breakfast made us both feel royal! Full service, delicious food, and beautiful place settings. We will be coming back here!"
