"We had a lovely little time here and I would totally recommend booking a stay. Our first cabin was smaller than expected but the staff was super helpful and upgraded us to a much better cabin. Our fireplace had an issue and they sent someone to fix it immediately. It's rustic, quiet and cozy. We brought our dog and he was shown love by the staff and there's a nice little trail along the river to walk. Free breakfast and homemade cookies are extra little bonuses that guests can enjoy daily. And everything is a mere 10 minute drive away. Great place!"

"Cabin was nice and rustic, good beds and very clean. WiFi couldn't support the supplied Roku TV, so had to use my phones hotspot to watch TV at night. Office personnel were great! Accomodated last minute room change. Dinner at the on site restaurant (The Barn) was disappointing. Food did not appear or taste fresh. For example, green beans were very mushy/watery, mashed potatoes were dry and tasteless. Steak was $32 but thin and full of fat/sinew. Fish and chips smelled off and fries were cold. The waiter/bartender was outstanding! Great service and good drinks for the price. Better options for dinners and drinks are close by. We would visit and stay again."

"Room was spacious and clean but they needed to have a fresh pair of eyes to run over the place, for example some of the plug sockets were badly installed, pieces of wood wedged behind chest of drawers to stop it rocking. The WiFi was SHOCKINGLY bad, cutting out to the point of non existence after about 5pm. The restaurant was overpriced and the dinner portions small, I would recommend looking elsewhere for an evening meal. Breakfast was fine, Andrew couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. And Bill behind the desk in reception was kindness itself when I needed something printed."

"My wife and I stayed in one of the small cabins July 2 through 4. Was extremely impressed with the staff and facility. There was a miscommunication with our check in date, the file said check in was supposed to be July 1, I thought I was going to be stuck paying for a night I wasn't there. The wonderful man Sabby that checked us in waived the fee, we were so impressed with the experience that we'll be back in August with our Family, and booked 2 cabins when we checked out. And the breakfast was outstanding! Thank you for an unforgettable experience, keep up the good work!!!"

"I really have no complaints aside from only one set of jets working on hot tub. They helped us when our other hotel was full of bugs and was dirty. Coming here was a major step up and a lot cheaper too. The food is good but the cookies are delicious. The king loft suite is clean and very spacious for my family."
