"We stayed at the Bethel Hill B&B for 2 nights to ski (only 10 minute from Sunday River) and loved everything about it. Carol and Scott were wonderful hosts and we loved our stay there. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and charming. There was an adorable sitting area at the top of the stairs. The breakfast each day was in a cozy room with a wood stove and the breakfast was amazing. They definitely had us well fed to hit the slopes. Usually, as skiers, when we’ve stayed at other B&Bs, we get a to-go bag of food because we need to leave too early, but Carol just adjusted the time to feed us so we could then go ski. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast."

"The location is conveniently located in the town of Bethel, where there are plenty of restaurants and bars, and a short drive to Sunday River resort. Our room is clean and spacious. The house is beautifully maintained and feels cozy. Breakfast was delicious and was served in a cute sunroom with fireplace. Carol and Scott are friendly hosts who give recommendations of activities to do and where to eat. The only feedback was that the tub took a while to fill up, but overall the experience was great and we will definitely stay here again."

"We had the privilege of staying with the Goulds at Bethel Hill Bed & Breakfast last weekend. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. The home is so inviting. I felt like I was visiting with family. Carol greeted us, showed us around the house, left us cookies, gave us great info on the area and was just a very special person to meet. Scott has the kitchen in command with his fantastic breakfasts. Such a lovely couple. Aside from the great vibe, the finishings and style in the home is impeccable. The fact that they maintain this and other properties in such a crisp, clean and polished manner is amazing. They have taste and style that is not cheezy bed & breakfast, it's authenticity is impressive. We had a comfortable bed (I slept like a baby), a spacious bathroom with jet tub, a couple of common areas, a quaint patio to have breakfast on (love all the windows!) and keys to both the outer doors and our bedroom. The size of the inn was perfect and we were the only ones there for the weekend. We will be back, most likely during warmer weather when we can enjoy the beautiful gardens we saw last fall when we were there (we are frequenters of the area). We may even enjoy their lake house a time or two in the future as well. Thanks for having us!"

"Carol and Scott, the owners, were truly splendid hosts. They were very friendly and accommodating; you can really tell that they want every guest to have a pleasant stay, and they really went out of their way to be helpful and to make us feel at home. Scott helped us to plan our itinerary with great recommendations of the surrounding area. Plenty of materials about the nearby recreational activities were also on hand, and this was very helpful. Scott's also a very good cook. Carol was so friendly and charming. The location cannot be beat -- a very beautiful house at the end of Broad Street -- very quiet, a few minutes' walk to good restaurants. The house itself is beautiful and we truly enjoyed the gardens and the big front porch. The guest rooms are top-notch, with ensuite bathrooms, beautiful furnishings -- even some very nice antique pieces. We were very sad that we had to leave after only three days, but we will be back!"
