"This was a cozy little place to stay for a fun weekend with friends. The owner, Nancy was a great hostess and even offered us beef stew that she had made. She also offered up a space for us to get together to play games and socialize. Looking forward to staying here again!"

"We were excited to stay as it was set in the middle of town close to trails, the booking was a breeze and the staff was friendly and easy to work with, we were advised it was being completely redone and all new rooms. However, the photos that were shown of the rooms were not an accurate representation of the room we got. We saw images of a newly redone room, and the room we stayed in was not newly redone. It was old, dingy, had holes in the wall, missing furniture, and it was unsanitary and unsafe. The room had a sunken floor at the entry. The steps leading up to our room had no lights so it was pitch black and they were extremely uneven that I tripped and fell on the first night. We had to clean the bathroom upon arrival as there was toothpaste dried in sink, hair and dirt stains in shower, and toilet seat was broken and dirty. The refrigerator was dirty and rusted. The floors needed to be swept and vacuumed. The mattress did not have bed bugs but the mattress cover was dirty, full of pieces of food and black spots that looked like mold. There were bugs all over the room. The room had a damp/wet feel to it during our visit and a musty/moldy smell in the room which set into our personal belongings. We had to leave unexpectedly early and the staff was very friendly and accommodating and refunded us for the nights we would not be staying. It is for sure a cheap stay but before booking, I would confirm what you will have for a room if you do go. We understand it is New Hampshire and are not looking for anything fancy but we were at least expecting a clean room."
