"Update 11/28: I spoke to the manager yesterday. I asked to speak to the owner but was told he doesn't talk to people. I woke up this morning at saw I was refunded my full amount at 2am. I'm not sure whether this was Expedia directly or from the hotel, but I'm grateful we were refunded as we didn't stay. Original Review: I hate to leave a review like this and will update if resolved. But the short story: please don't stay here. It's not clean. We checked in at approx 6:30pm and left at approx 9pm after being given the option of 2 dirty rooms. The long story: We checked in at approx 6:30pm to one of the Executive Suites. I got a call prior to getting to the resort asking where I was, which I thought was odd. When we checked in the room, we noticed a weird odor. The shower looked like it had recently been running as well.The carpets were dirty, there were scuffs all over the wall, sticky handles, but we had a long day and were exhausted. When we pulled out the sofa bed for the kids, there were tons of food particles that looked like shredded cheese and chips - none of this was food we ate. Then, on the sofa bed were sheets and a mattress pad - the sheets were covered in grease stains and hairs. We then checked our sheets: one bed had a thick, black, short curly hair right in the center. The other bed had several small hairs. The hotel had left us "clean" sheets for the sofa bed- when I opened them up there was a dried, old piece of shredded cheese stuck to the blanket. I called the "on-call" as the office wasn't open. They came and moved me to another room. The staff member watched me as I looked over everything which was uncomfortable, so I rushed. I then told him I wasn't sure if we were going to stay as we were all so disgusted from what we found in the other room. We moved our things, took a closer look at the bed and again there were several hairs on the sheets as well as dark stains to the sofa bed mattress. At approx 9pm we decided to leave. I was sick to my stomach on what we saw in the other room and didn't want to risk possible bed bugs by staying here. I called the front desk who said they couldn't approve a refund and I'd have to call in the morning. I followed up with Expedia, where I booked the room. Expedia was able to negotiate 50% refund as per the hotel: "this is last minute cancellation. Moreover when we moved them to another room they checked the room before moving but we think that they already made up their mind to leave." I truly hate to leave this review but I would hate more for someone to stay and bring small children to a hotel that is filthy. We truly felt unsafe at this hotel, please do not stay here. Additionally, we left after less than 3 hours and were not refunded."

"Stayed one night while visiting Santa's Village. The rate was appropriate for the situation and the amenities. No breakfast, no frills. Basic place to stay but IT WAS CLEAN. We stayed in the winter, so I cannot speak to the pool or hot tub experience. The service was good and the location was good for being able to grab some food nearby. I'd stay again for the night: my expectations were met."

"I stayed here for work so I didn't spend much time there. At the end of a twelve hour day it was nice to come to very clean, comfortable room to stay in. No, the rooms aren't huge but were perfect for my needs. Clean room, king size bed, fidge and microwave. Definitely will stay here when in the area for work in the future."

"I booked this place for what was supposed to be 2 nights for me and my husband for our anniversary weekend. This turned out to be a big mistake. For starters, the "deluxe" suite I paid for was smaller than our bedroom at home. We had our dog with us but there were no accommodations for him, despite me calling when I booked it to make sure that was taken care of. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, and we found BEDBUGS. To top this all off, there was no hot water and the disposable paper cups all had mold on them. We ended up checking out after staying for just about 12 hours because it was so dirty and unpleasant. The owner said I would get a refund, but that has yet to happen. Steer clear!"

"The guy at front desk, (the owner I believe) was very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The room was great, very clean. Smelt great. Bathroom was spotless. Pool was clean. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! We will definitely be back."
