"Such a wonderful, scenic lighthouse to visit. It was a bit fogged in, but it cleared enough to spot eider ducks and cormorants diving for sea critters in the rough surf below the light. The museum is staffed by some very knowledgable volunteers that have all sorts of historical stories of the light and surrounding areas. We were there in early October which gave us the opportunity to have a volunteer on site to allow us to climb the tower to the top. One of the few lighthouses in Maine that allow you to climb up to the top. Well worth the trip to see."
"This lighthouse was so neat! Make sure you take the time to walk down the hill and onto the rocks. The pics will be stunning! It’s so peaceful and the colors are amazing!"
"Magically beautiful, there's so much to see and enjoy. It's very gorgeous being there in person and capturing the waves hitting the rock formations. Super relaxing just sitting there watching the waves while the sun is setting. Perfect place for couples to enjoy a romantic evening with mother nature. Nothing can beat the true beauty of nature. The light house itself is well maintained and great to see a clearer view of the ocean shore. Definitely a must visit. Great for friends and families"
"A nice little lighthouse with nicely kept grounds. The stairway up to the top of the tower costs an extra dollar. It is a short way up, but the tight quarters and steep stairs turned some people away. The museum is informative but the documents and artifacts need preservation if they are going to survive. The adjacent art gallery features local artists and is a lot of fun."
