"I wish I could give zero stars for the ER at this place. We don’t go to hospitals, doctors unless absolutely necessary. Severely sick person with me and they literally emptied the waiting room before seeing them. The triage nurse is also a huge zero, as I blame him for the “severity” rating he must’ve gave us. Clearly he doesn’t know how to judge anything and he should be looking for new work because I think he hates his job. If you have to go to an ER, don’t bother with this one. 5 hours and counting, still here with a very sick person and no help."
"I recently spent a week on the 6th floor. I have been hospitalized many times and have never received better care. All the staff, doctors, nurses, dietary, housekeeping, went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. They not only were very professional, but actually cared about their patients! I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone! Thank you for such wonderful care!"
"I wish I had did more research when I gave birth to my two children .. The first time they treated me good, but I felt like it wasn’t personal and they were just trying to rush me through my pregnancies and giving birth and like I couldn’t get too comfortable . The second time I gave birth at home , and they pushed it off until AFTER the baby came. Overall I felt like my childbirth was very impersonal and like they really didn’t care they were just pushing me off until they absolutely couldn’t wait and the baby came and AFTER the baby came they forced me to go to the hospital for NO REASON after I already did all the work !!! I would never give birth here again obviously I chose St peters over Albany med I really feel like the experience is so impersonal and they’re just treating you like another specimen and It’s just not the ideal experience when you are having such an intimate experience around people you don’t really know. 2/10 I wouldn’t give birth here ever again or do anything with this medical practice unless I have to because they really don’t care they’re just there to make money and get you out of there and it’s onto the next!!"
"The ER merits a big 0. My friend arrived at 12:30 7 hours later no one had talked to her about blood work taken 5 hours earlier. Her blood pressure dropped to an abnormal level no one even checked on her. Her EKG was abnormal but again no action. Meanwhile the ER was empty when she arrived. The nursing staff was unprofessional, disrespectful and displayed no concern. This was 12/17/23. Given my mother was a nurse and my step was a physician for decades in the area such lack of care and concern strikes me as appalling. You can’t access records that are legally your information because not one person answers a telephone. Nonetheless, St. Peter’s Health buys more and more heath care providers and this constitutes what? In short, I suggest you go to any other ER if at all possible."
"It is absolutely the worst hospital I've ever been to In my entire life, the place is so dirty and disgusting. And it smells like 10 day old urine. Have been sitting in emergency room for 7 hours. Now and I still have not seen a doctor. If you are sick and need emergency care, you might as well just go to the cemetery, you will get better service."
