"This CVS was excellent when it first opened just a few years ago. Sadly, it has gone downhill in terms of pleasant demeanor of staff, cleanliness of store’s appearance and steady supply of merchandise. The tiny store is too small for the growing neighborhood and shelves are often missing whatever you need to purchase—especially necessities like cleaning supplies and first aid items (Hello—bleach? alcohol? tissues?) or extras like cosmetics. The pharmacy staff changes so frequently it’s impossible to establish a friendly and familiar relationship with a pharmacist or technician. Oddly, almost the entire front of store staff changes at once. I used to shop here several times a week and now I visit the store only on rare occasions-mainly to get prescriptions. The store’s patronage seems to be divided by two distinct groups of people—those who live in the surrounding area’s luxury apartments and those who stay at the Pine Street Inn homeless shelter. Recommended only If you live in the immediate area and need a local pharmacy for your prescriptions —there’s no other option in this neighborhood."
"I recently had a disheartening encounter at CVS that compelled me to share my experience. While shopping, an employee made inappropriate comments about my family speaking Chinese. When I attempted to address the issue, she responded with aggression and rudeness. There has also been another incident where my mom had came into the pharmacy to get my disabled father's medicine and was treated rudely due to the fact that she could not speak English and made the mistake of thinking the employee was able to address her needs. Since 400 Tremont Streets CVS has closed, this location was the closest and convenient for us, but will be taking our business elsewhere. This lack of respect and empathy is unacceptable. I hope CVS takes steps to ensure such incidents are properly addressed in the future."
"Would not recommend. Pharmacy severely understaffed. Plan to wait hours for your prescription and not be able to get through to the pharmacy over the phone"
"I’m a normal customer. I had came in the morning close to noon and wanted to checkout at the register. The asian girl worker in the front at check out had seem to call a guy worker with glasses to help me out with my transaction and seem to give her attitude or just didn’t want to help me. Horrible customer service, but I appreciate her for trying to help me."
"Corporate… Hello??? Make some necessary changes. Hands down the worst CVS I’ve ever visited. Customer service is terrible. #1) No self-checkout technology…. There’s always a line at checkout and usually only one person working (until they call for backup). #2) Customer service is still terrible. They won’t even hand you your receipt. Honest. And give you a look as if “why are you still standing here). The mgr does this too. #3) Low supplies… constantly. Maybe another competitor w move in next store Ink Block."
