The female manager with the tacky nails will not help you AT ALL even with uhaul on the phone and argue with you, but Thomas was amazing and helped me return my trailer. I would literally rather chew glass and be ran over by a uhaul truck than go back to this location."

"One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. Staff unprofessional and rude. Tried to upsell to a bigger unit (even though 3 days prior we had gone to the store to specifically look at, assess and reserve the correct one) and charge us more as they had rented the unit we had specifically reserved. They substituted large unit anyways and my spouse was exceptionally upset. Tried to call the pittsfield store and they would not answer, then got transferred to corporate and they offered no assistance but insisted that we would have to pay for the wrong unit. Drove the unit back to them stating it was not what we had reserved and would not work. Staff and Manager then became even more rude and unprofessional when I was asking why they had rented a trailer that we had reserved. They admitted the reservation was there but kept blaming the computer. Finally gave up as the logic defied them that there was a valid reservation in the system that they simply ignored. Thankfully an independent uhaul renter in Adams MA had the correct trailer and we rented from him. Took 1/5 the time to rent, he was professional and helpful, and was even $10 less then the Uhaul store on West Housatonic. Moral of the story - AVOID THE UHAUL on Rt 20 (west housatonic) as the staff is unprofessional, rude and they do not honor their reservation. But do support the independent Uhaul that actually tries to provide good service in Adams MA."

"You charged me a penalty for fuel. But I put enough in there to bring it back to where it was when I got the Van. It was already barely half a tank not yet 3/4 when I picked up the vehicle. You should be able to see that in your records. You can also see in your records that I only drove 34 miles. And I can prove to you that I put in 3 gallons. But you penalize me for what? Not filling it up all the way even though I only got it just over half full?"
