"Well kept trail system around the lake. Two parking lots make for much easier parking. Plenty of room to spread out so even on busy days it doesn't feel crowded. Lovely views."
"A super beautiful woods with a beautiful lake in the middle. The trails that run through Goose Pond Forest are well kept and dry. The lake route is clear all year long and has plenty of attractive wildlife to see. The parking situation can be approached from multiple sides, depending on where inside Greater Goose Pond you want to go. Parking is free. There are no bathrooms out in these woods."
"Good quick hike about 3 miles 1 hour hike at a slower pace, quiet and not muddy right now, good for relaxing, swimming, hiking, picnic, fishing, also natural trails and animals (birds, fish, salamanders, and turtles."
"A great place to take kids to explore, have a snack, hang out for a couple of hours. About a 2 mile loop around the lake, with side trails that rise up into the maze of Goose Pond/Drummer Hill bike and footpaths."
"Really nice place that makes you feel distant, even though it is close to civilization. Not a far hike into the woods is the lake, or Goose Pond. Some good bass fishing in here, not far if you have a light kayak or canoe. Shore fishing is just as good because of the points and culdesac areas. Good trail that goes the circumference, mostly walkers but some mountain bikers too. Watch for snakes. Great to ice skate on too, just bring some friends so your not alone."
