Piscataquog River Park

"My pup says this is her favorite walking trail. She loves to take her playdates for a walk around the lake and loves meeting new playful pups along her little adventures ."

"This park was always nice but more recently a private group of area residents took up cleaning and maintaining the park. Since then, the homeless have moved out, the park is clean, more people are using it, and they even made a dent in the invasive plants problem. You'll find bicycling, BMX jumps, fishing, kayaking, tubing, swimming, and hiking at this park. Generally used as an off-leash dog park too."

"Cool hiking spot. You wanna wear long sleeves cuz it's buggy. You wanna be ok with getting your shoes and pant legs wet cuz it's the water is worth it. You'll get lost in time so plan for 2 hours. Brush your dog down for ticks when you're done crushing it. Homeless ppl live in the deep woods so don't get too adventurous if that bothers you. But they're not homeless if they live in the woods now are they? Leave em alone."

"The trail could easily be a 5 but thanks to the amount of trash and sketchy camps everywhere it doesn't feel that safe nor that beautiful. The fishing can be really fun and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to try. Truly hope the city will clean up the area.."
