"My appointment was at 8:30 PM and it felt like McDonalds at midnight. Terrible experience, clueless people, dirty place. Dressing room had overflowing hamper of dirty johnnies. I was instructed to lay my leg flat. I said I could not, without causing severe pain. Staff said I had to lay leg flat or could not get MRI. I said it will hurt a lot - I can’t imagine I can lay still for a moment in that much pain. Staff continued to try to convince me to lay leg flat, so I did and suffered excruciating, writhing pain for the next 6 hours. Needless to say, I did not get MRI. Tech was very bossy and showed little compassion. No one was kind or helpful. I was still in their wheelchair in the hallway, fighting the pain, trying to prepare to transfer to my own wheelchair and the tech came out, asking me to hurry, to get the wheelchair back."

"Shield was able to assist us in making sure our pre-authorization was submitted. Our doctor's office insisted it was even though 2 weeks had gone by. The receptionists at shield one above and beyond to call our doctor's office and walk them through how to submit the paperwork to the national imaging association. They then followed up to make sure it was received by the NIA. Without them, I don't think our doctor's office would have figured it out by now."

"Scheduled my mri weeks ago, received a call at 4:15 the day before to verify my insurance information. Tried calling back and was hung up on twice. Went to my appointment this morning to find out it was cancelled. Figure it out, shields."

"Great people work here, very friendly and helpful. The COVID restrictions and protections are being used to keep everyone safe. There was no wait time for appointment, get you in and done. My appointment was at 9PM, surprised that they are open that late. Hopefully you never need MRI but if you do, Shields MRI will take care of you."

"My mother had 2 appointments today in Leominster. To make it easier on transportation, we were able to schedule the appointments for 9:45 am and 1:50 pm. After her first appointment was done, we decided to check in for her 1:50 pm appointment and figure what to do in between at the hospital. There were no other patients in the waiting room, and although we told the technician that checked us in that we were SUPER early....she looked over at me and winked, and said "let me see what I can do." .She came back a few minutes later and said to me, "lets do this!" .She asked us all the check in questions, even joked with my 75 yr old Mom with the pregnancy question (they have to ask) "are you pregnant girl?" She was AWESOME! My Mom gets super nervous if I'm not in with her, and this technician was sweet and took really great care of my Mom. She didn't come out after, so I couldn't ask her name, but I hope someone reads this and knows who this lovely, friendly young woman is, and recognizes her excellent patient skills. And yes, my Mother approved this information being posted, with HIPAA and all. Thank you Sheilds MRI!! ❤️❤️"
