"Warning: Do NOT go to St. Peter's Breast Center. While the practitioners are great, Trinity Health is engaging in hugely deceptive billing practices... I had a needle biopsy conducted at the breast center (30 mins, local, in Ultrasound Room) ... Because they billed as an "in-hospital surgical procedure" (it was NEITHER), I'm being assessed a $500 copay. They admit that they "usually" reach out in advance to determine patient liability, but that didn't occur for an unknown reason. Hospitals like this ARE THE PROBLEM."
"Made apps for Manning Blvd location. Day before text said Washington Ave which was inconvenient Staff seemed bored and disintetested Will not mail or email me slip O need for work. Asked to speak to manager. Wad on hold more than 17 minutes No one picked up."
"My appt was 330 pm. Got to the office at 330pm and it's closed. This communicates to me that staff and management in this office clearly don't want to work, nor are they understanding that people on Medicaid, with limited resources, can not arrive 15 minutes early for the office's convenience. I had to rearrange my day, and work 7 hours without lunch or breaks just to get to my appointment on time. I had to cycle 3 miles in the heat to make it there on time. After these shenanigans, I called scheduling to complain, and say I would NOT be returning or rescheduling. Now I'm being hounded by phone calls to reschedule. My dudes really think they deserve a second chance without addressing this. 0/10."
"If you can get someone to answer the phone and schedule your appointment you do get wonderful service at the Washington Ave site. I have called 3 times so far and hung up after 10 minutes on hold. SPH seems to think that my time is not as valuable as theirs. It is a shame they treat their patients this way."
"The alarmist Ill informed phone conversation I had with Dorothy this morning left me in tears (she hung up on me while I was crying) — she had zero tact or compassion and this place should be ashamed of having someone like that work the phones in such a delicate situation. Everyone else I talked to was kind but having a tech tell me our doctor was lying was many many steps over a line. If you are looking for someone to be gentle and compassionate steer clear of Dorothy and anything she touches."
