"One of the worst retail experiences I have ever had and it is because of this store. We ordered a custom sectional couch in February 2022 and one year later, we still do not have the correct couch. When we received our custom couch, the couch had issues and did not line up correctly. There were gaps inbetween the sectional pieces that made the couch look disjointed and not well made. We called our sales rep at the store, who placed our order, to help us with the order. The sales rep ordered the replacement piece and after waiting for another 6-8 weeks for the piece to arrive, we were informed that the she had ordered the incorrect piece... HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN? Incompetent people at this store is how! We were upset but all we wanted was the correct piece ordered, but we were told that if we wanted to order the new correct piece, we would have to pay upfront (again) but we would not be refunded for the cost of the defective piece. Essentially, we would have to pay for the entirety of the sectional couch plus the value of the defective piece. Make this make sense. The sales rep completely gave up on helping us and instead directed us to the 1-800 customer service number. We requested to speak with the store manager several times, but she was always out of the country or unavailable. Also, when you call the store, be prepared for no one to answer. The phone just rings, rings and rings. This store has a 3 star review for a reason, so if you are looking to purchase any furniture from Macy's, I would steer clear from this store."
