"I went in to look for puzzle glue a half hour before closing and the only girl in the store took the time to suggest and help me. Great service!"
"They had everything we were looking for plus good sales and we used coupons. Self check out was easy. Lots of Christmas stuff left at 75% off"
"I went there to pick up an online order. I only have 1 thing out of my order of 3 items, which I needed all 3 to do what I needed to do. The lady helping me was super nice and was trying to refund me as I just didn't need and couldn't use just the one item (it was wax for wax seals, and I didn't get the seal stamps. ) . She called the manager to help her, the manager came out with a WICKED BAD attitude towards me and her. Then lied to my face telling me that I couldn't return my stuff and get cash back. I used a debit card and had done returns here before. . So I said what ever and was just going to put it on my card. Guess what?! It went back as cash. So then I did a walk through, looking for other things I need. I went to the register to pay and was met with MORE attitude from the girl cashing me out. I get it's a busy weekend. I have been management in retail for 10 plus years. It's stressful, not fun and people can be rude... but if you can't handle it or hate your job that much, get another job."
"I recently had an incredibly disappointing and frustrating encounter at Michaels while attempting to purchase a Christmas tree, which turned into a nightmare thanks to the appalling customer service provided by the store manager. My experience was marred by rudeness, unhelpfulness, and an overall lack of concern for customer satisfaction. Upon entering the store, I was delighted to find a display model of a Christmas tree that perfectly matched what I was looking for. However, my excitement quickly turned into dismay when I realized it was the only one left in stock. Despite this, I proceeded to inquire about purchasing the display model. The manager, whose demeanor was unwelcoming from the start, demonstrated a complete lack of interest in assisting me. When I found out the tree I wanted and showed online available, was not available in the store, I asked if it was possible to purchase the display tree, she responded curtly, stating that it was indeed for sale but made no effort to assist with the process, and advised I would have to place the order online and come back once it was boxed up. As a customer, I expected at least a minimal level of service and cooperation, which was sorely lacking. To add insult to injury, when I returned after receiving a text that my online order was ready for pickup, I drove to the store to find, it was not ready..30 minutes later...it was sitting up front by the registers, in a very large opened box. I approached and asked if that was my tree, she stated it was in an annoyed manor. I requested tape to secure the open box for transportation, the manager callously refused, stating she had none, leaving me to figure it out on my own. Carrying a large, unwieldy box, exposed and vulnerable to damage, without any support or assistance from the store's personnel was incredibly frustrating and unacceptable. I got it home and found one of legs on the tree stand completely twisted and out of place (metal) I was able to adjust it back in to place somewhat but my tree is looking tippy because of it. After all this I was over it and decided to keep it regardless. The manager’s dismissive attitude and refusal to provide basic assistance left me feeling utterly disregarded and frustrated. It's disheartening to witness such abysmal customer service, especially from someone in a managerial position who should be setting a better example for their staff. As a loyal customer of Michaels for years, this experience has left a sour taste in my mouth and has severely tarnished my perception of the store. The lack of basic assistance and empathy from the manager was unacceptable and deeply disappointing. In conclusion, the experience I had at Michaels while attempting to purchase a Christmas tree was nothing short of a nightmare, all thanks to the appalling customer service exhibited by the manager. It's disheartening to see such disregard for customer satisfaction and basic courtesy, and I sincerely hope that steps are taken to rectify these issues to prevent others from enduring a similar ordeal in the future."
"Was a little disappointed in the yarn supply, but snapped a few photos. You could tell they were doing inventory as boxes were everywhere."
