"Show I am writing this post in somewhat of sadness. If you will I am an absolute frequent flyer at Ace Hardware both at Oak Hill and Dunstan. I know they owned by the same exact owners and every time I’ve gone to Ace Hardware I’ve had nothing but an exceptional, exceptional experience the staff is absolutely incredible, their knowledge and expertise is always helpful and I absolutely love going to a local hardware store where people tend to know you better and you are providing money to a local business unlike the big box stores like Lowe’s or Home Depot. However, today I went into the Oak Hill Ace Hardware and purchased a bunch of yeti’s and a bunch of other stuff that I needed which totaled about $300 during my time in there I realize I had to go to the bathroom quite bad I ran into a woman who had an Ace Hardware tag and said, is there any way possible I could use your bathroom we do not have a bathroom you’ll have to go over to Walgreens now come on people I know you have a bathroom. You also know that I am a 100% frequent flyer there I’ve got $300 worth of merchandise in my cart yet this woman had the absolute audacity to say they have no bathrooms at all in the building which is just an outright lie because I was literally looking through an opening and saw the bathroom right there but maybe she could’ve said well. We don’t have a public bathroom but the real thing is going to the big box stores. They do have restroom there and you can use them but I like to buy local and do local, I’m really really sad that I had to post this but her attitude and the way she confronted me was absolutely unacceptable. I love Ace Hardware I want to continue doing business with Ace Hardware . I think their staff is amazing but this particular woman which I believe she is a manager at that Oak Hill location Had a rotten attitude and by the way couldn’t even look at me in the eyes, she was putting stuff on a shelf and shouted this out to me."

"I love this Ace store for many reasons - it has everything, great location, and exceptionally helpful staff. This morning I needed to find a tiny screw to repair a clasp on a leather bag - Jack not only found exactly what I needed, he also reassembled the clasp. Outstanding customer service / thank you!"

"Decent selection of what you need for basic household, garden, or garage small repairs and or fixes. I find it's not a good idea to look at the ACE website or App and expect it to be there. No fault of Oak Hill, just call ahead and ask."

"Disable parking is not by the main entrance, it’s a good 5-8 spots to the left of the doors, does not make any damn sense. Also no military discounts and staff didn’t seem helpful. Also on the tools I was looking at, it was placed in a little bag, probably because it was returned and it was used and this store still has it has full retail price, you can clearly see it was used. Won’t go to the location again."
